ABRITES Diagnostics for Porsche 6.0

* The new and evolved version of the Abrites diagnostics for Porsche (6.0) is now available! The Abrites diagnostics for Porsche version 6.0 is the next step in the evolution of the Abrites diagnostic software for Porsche. The new generation of Abrites diagnostics for Porsche has many improvements in comparison to the previous generation (5.4). Most of these improvements include a faster and more straight forward access to all standard, dealer level diagnostic functions required to perform diagnostics on all electronic control units installed in modern Porsche vehicles – fault code reading, unit identifications, actual values, input signals, actuator tests and coding for multiple modules.
The new Abrites diagnostics for Porsche version 6.0 includes the addition of the following models:
- 996 GT2 (2001-2005)
- 996 GT3 (2000-2005)
- Boxster 986 (1997-2004)
- Boxster/Cayman 987 (2005-2010)
- Boxster/Cayman 981 (2012+)
- Carrera GT 980 (2002-2006)
- 911 996 (1998-2005)
- 911 997 (2005-2010)
- 911 991 (2012+)
- Cayenne 9PA up to MY 2010
- Cayenne 92A from MY 2011
- Panamera 970
* Other new and improved features include:
- Automatic vehicle identification, designed to identify the vehicle as soon as the Abrites diagnostic software for Porsche is started.
- Automated identification of electronic control modules. Once the diagnostic session with an ECU is started the Abrites diagnostic software will automatically detect the module type (for example the type of the engine control unit installed, transmission installed, etc.) and will right away provide the software version number (if available) and the manufacturer ID and number.
- Extended ECU identification – provides additional (extended) unit's identification information such as software and hardware part number, program version and status, vehicle identification number, etc.
- Read diagnostic trouble code (DTC) information – displays DTC number, DTC text and DTC environment data (such as fault presence, fault count, time and date of registration, etc.).
Clear DTCs – clears the DTCs.
Actual values – read and display control unit's live data such as component temperature, engine speed, vehicle speed, component elements status, sensors values etc..
Actuator tests – provides the user with the possibility to activate and deactivate the components/systems controlled by the ECU.
Coding – gives you the possibility to change the control unit configuration (for example installed components list, components activation/deactivation, language settings, vehicle type configuration, engine type configuration, service intervals, comfort function settings, etc.)
