New for VAG Vehicles: Change Immo Configuration for 5A and 5B Systems
The latest update of Abrites Diagnostics for VAG (Offline version 42.2) introduces a powerful new feature for working with Immo 5A and 5B vehicles:
- Change Immobilizer Configuration – now supported!
This functionality allows technicians to modify the immobilizer configuration in VAG vehicles equipped with BCM2 and MQB dashboards without crypto core.
What Can Be Changed?
You can now update key vehicle identity data:
- Power Class
- VIN
- Component Security (CS)
- Slave module configuration (e.g. number of ECUs, transmission presence, ESL/ELV, keyless features)
Note: To apply these changes, the current CS (Component Security) of the immobilizer is required.
Who Gets Access?
This functionality is automatically included in the VN002 Parts Adaptation License.
