The license allows technicians to resolve module replacement and VIN mismatch issues, recover locked or fail-safe modules, and restore components after crash events. In many cases, this enables the original or a replacement module to be reused instead of replaced, saving both time and repair costs.
Functionalities:
• Navigation module VIN mismatch recovery
• UCH and Navigation module replacement support
• Alignment of the second VIN stored in the UCH with the Navigation module
• Recovery/reset of locked Navigation multimedia modules (Clio V platform vehicles)
• JTEKT EPS recovery from Fail-Safe Mode
• Front Radar (Distronic/ADAS) reset after crash events
Navigation and UCH Adaptation
RR031 allows second VIN alignment between the UCH and Navigation multimedia module, enabling proper module replacement in supported Renault and Dacia vehicles.
The license can also recover Navigation multimedia systems that have become locked because of a VIN mismatch with the UCH, for systems used on the Renault Clio V platform.
RR024 is retired for UCH replacement procedures.
Supported Vehicles
Navigation and UCH functions are available for supported Renault and Dacia vehicles equipped with a Navigation multimedia unit and JCI (Visteon) or Continental UCH, manufactured between 2014 and 2026.

JTEKT EPS Recovery
RR031 allows the recovery of JTEKT Electric Power Steering (EPS) modules from Fail-Safe Mode.
When the EPS enters Fail-Safe Mode, it can cause a "Dongle" error in the UCH and prevent the vehicle from starting. RR031 restores normal EPS module operation and resolves the related condition.
Compatible with Renault and Dacia vehicles equipped with supported JTEKT EPS modules.
Front Radar Recovery After Crash
RR031 provides Front Radar (Distronic/ACC/ADAS) recovery and reset following crash events.
On supported Renault and Dacia vehicles, a crash event can cause the Front Radar module to enter a locked state. RR031 clears the crash-related records and restores the module to normal operation, allowing it to be reused instead of replaced in many cases.
Compatible with supported Renault and Dacia vehicles manufactured from 2020 onwards and equipped with Front Radar systems.
