The MN034 FBS4 Personalization Expert license allows personalization of all virgin FBS4 modules, including brand-new ones. MN034 allows personalization with or without available FBS4 data via OBDII and internal CAN-Bus connection.
This is a major tool for working with modules from the FBS4 generation Mercedes-Benz vehicles.
Functionalities:
* Personalization of virgin modules by OBDII and internal CAN-Bus connection with or without previously saved FBS4 data
* Personalization of brand-new and unused modules by OBDII and internal CAN-Bus connection WITHOUT the need to set them to virgin state!
Disclaimer 1: FBS4 data can be read from modules and saved to file using MN032 license
Supported modules:
Transmission Control Units: VGS-FDCT/VGS2-FDCT (7G DCT), VGS4-NAG2 (7G-Tronic), VGSNAG3 (9G-Tronic), VGS-DCT (8G FDCT)
- Personalization of virgin modules via OBDII and internal CAN-Bus connection (using FBS4 data read from the original module)
- Personalization of brand-new and unused modules via OBDII and internal CAN-Bus connection (using FBS4 data read from the orignal module)
For ALL Engine Control Units
- Personalization of virgin or brand-new modules for ALL ECU types, using FBS4 data read from the orignal module, via OBDII and internal CAN-Bus connection! (Standard personalization)
- Personalization of virgin or brand-new MED17 and EDC17 by OBDII when NO PREVIOUSLY SAVED PERSONALIZATION DATA FROM THE ORIGINAL MODULE IS AVAILABLE!
NEW FUNCTIONALITY UPDATE:
- Personalization of virgin or brand-new MRD1/MRG1 and MED41 (MED17.7.7) on bench via ABRITES Distribution Box Set (ZN151) when NO PREVIOUSLY SAVED PERSONALIZATION DATA FROM THE ORIGINAL MODULE IS AVAILABLE!
Hybrid vehicle ECUs (INV20EM01 and derivatives)
- Personalization of virgin or brand-new modules, using FBS4 data read from the orignal module, by OBD and internal CAN-Bus connection (Standard personalization)

- Personalization of modules, using FBS4 data read from the original module, via OBD and internal CAN-Bus connection – No need to open the module!

Required hardware:
* AVDI – essential in order to use all ABRITES-based products and establish OBD connection
* Direct CAN-BUS/LIN-BUS Connection Cable Set (CB012) – required for internal CAN-Bus connection
* ABRITES Distribution Box Set (ZN151) – required for personalization of MRD1/MRG1 and MED41 (MED17.7.7) when no previously saved personalization data is available
* ABPROG – required for personalization of DSM when no previously saved personalization data is available
* Mercedes-Benz MD1/MG1 ECU connection cable for FBS4 Manager and ECU Programming Tool (CB030)
* Extended Cable Set for all TCUs which require bench connection (CB403) – for owners of the ZN051 (older iteration of the Distribution Box Set)
