WHAT TO EXPECT FROM ABRITES DIAGNOSTICS FOR MERCEDES FBS4 CARS IN JANUARY

In December 2024, we released some incredible functions for the latest Mercedes cars – the ability to replace new VGS4-NAG2 transmissions without opening them, the IC177 cluster calibration licenses. But just when you thought this was everything Abrites had to offer this year, we are happy to announce that many more new features are coming with our first update of 2025.

Here is what you can expect to see in January 2025:

Ability to remove crash data from all airbag and Engine Control Modules in FBS4 cars

Removing the “Emergency P” error from DSM modules

This can now be done without the need to replace the module itself. The issue occurs when the vehicle has had 100 unsuccessful attempts to shift to a gear other than “Park”.

VGS-FDCT – removal of the permanent DTC (commonly P051300)

This DTC often immobilizes vehicles using front-wheel drive DCT transmissions after battery drain. It cannot be cleared by simply replacing the battery without a tool such as AVDI and the Abrites diagnostics for Mercedes FBS4 Toolbox.

Personalization of modules without needing the original module

Now expanded to include DSM modules, VGS4-NAG2, and CRD3 Engine Controllers.

Adaptation of modules to an EIS (EZS)

Adapting existing modules to the VIN and SSID of the EIS (EZS), including modules such as Airbag, ABS, EPS (Electronic Power Steering), Distronic, instrument cluster, head units, and others.

We will be sharing more information as we get closer to the update. Our continuous development ensures you have the best tools for any FBS4 car.

This is just the beginning of what we have in store for 2025 – stay tuned for more exciting updates in the coming weeks and months!
