NEW DEVELOPMENTS FOR FBS
We are happy to share with you our new developments regarding the Abrites Diagnostics for Mercedes-Benz and the new solutions we provide for FBS4. From improvements to existing functionality to brand new features, version 2.8 of the Abrites FBS4 Manager includes the following updates:
MN032 – DAS Manager for FBS4 Cars
- Ability to personalize modules using previously created backup (Dflash/EEPROM).
- Support for AMG GT transmission dual clutch controllers (GT-DCT) – read/write personalization via OBDII.
- Full support for reading FBS4 DSM data, virginizing, and personalizing via direct CAN.
- Read adaptation data of TCU (VGS-FDCT, VGSNAG3, 8G FDCT, GT-DCT) via OBDII.
Available for all MN032 license holders with a valid Assist Plan.
MN033 – Mercedes-Benz FBS4 Electronic Steering Lock Repair
- New types of ESL (ELV) FBS4 modules supported for reset.
- Functionality now fully available via OBDII – no need to connect to internal CANBUS.
- Support for ASTON MARTIN vehicles using FBS4 steering lock system.
- Allows emergency engine start if ESL/ELV is defective (not for mechanical damage).
Available for all MN033 license holders with a valid Assist Plan.
MN034 – FBS4 Personalization Expert
- Personalize brand new transmission controllers without making them virgin (VGS4NAG2 via CAN).
- Option to use SET088 to create a small safe access point for virginization.
Available for all MN034 license holders with a valid Assist Plan.
MN035 – VGS4-NAG2 FBS4 Virgin/Personalization via ABPROG
Many improvements have been implemented to streamline the use of the MN035 license. All features will be available to valid license holders with an Assist Plan.
All features are available to AVDI customers with a valid Assist Plan and the respective licenses after updating.
